REMINDERS

Our start time for Side 1 is 8:45 and for Side 2 is 9:00.
Entry time is very busy so please observe those times carefully as the Side 2 teachers from 8:45 - 9:00 are helping the Side 1 children with their morning transition and are sometimes not in the side 2 classroom before 8:55.
Thank you for your cooperation.

We keep extra Parkside clothes including pants, shirts, socks and underwear if a child’s extra zip-lock bag here is empty.  We seem to be almost completely out of these extra clothes.  Please check to see if you have any of our Parkside clothes at your home, especially pants.   Thank you.

If you need to contact us during the course of the day about anything, please do it with a phone call

If you child wears boots to school, please be sure to send in shoes for him or her to change into, and please label all hats, scarves, gloves, boots, etc.
Thanks in advance for helping us to stay as organized as we can.  It can really be a challenge during the winter months!

The goal of early childhood education should be to activate the child's own natural desire to learn.

Now that the weather has cooled, please send in hats and mittens, marked of course,  so that the children can stay warm on the playground.  If your child can put on his or her own gloves, you can send them in instead of the mittens, but we find that it is much easier for a student to put on his or her own mittens.  This process also helps them feel independent.
